Little girls shooting rifles

What do little girls with guns, pet chickens and calvary tents have in common? They are all photographs from H. Ambrose Kiehl's family collection taken at the turn of the century. Check out the newest digital collection at http://content.lib.washington.edu/kiehlweb/index.html

  1. This collection of photos is great and it gives us a candid view of life at the end of the 19th/beginning of the 20th century.
I specially like the photo named "Miriam holding a chicken, Fort Lawton, December 1899 " (following the link in the post), it's great!
